A trilogy within my Pink; Years of project. I originally planned to have these wooden canvases finished by Pokemon day on Feb. 28, but after completing the painting phase, my mentor @freehandprofit suggested I coat them in Art Resin.
These are my first pieces ever resinized & it ended up being one of the most difficult pieces/sets of pieces to photograph that I've ever had to deal with. Not to mention, I was setting my camera on a timer & running to set up, which made it extremely difficult to adjust to the glares on the resin accordingly.
The resin also created this weird wavy effect on all of my linework, which I think makes it look more texturized but it definitely wasn't intended.
The use of minimal color & detail was a stylistic choice, as I'm pushing myself to try & make the most out of limited options. Especially when my usual illustration style is overly sketchy detailing.
